Bridal Beauty and Fashion
Looking Her Best
Bridal beauty and
fashion is an important aspect of being the bride because you are always
the center of attention during the wedding. Sorry, guys, but she is
going to have all eyes on her during your beautiful wedding day. That
does not mean you should not look fashionable, as well. However, that is
for another article altogether. This one is all about bridal beauty and
fashion.
You might be doing nearly all you can to look your best on your wedding
day, which might include beginning a regular exercise routine and eating
healthy. However, you will also be focused on your wedding attire. The
wedding dress is of course the most sought after piece of wedding attire
for your wedding day. However, there are also more to choose from such
as shoes, a stunning bouquet, a handbag, hair accessories, and finely
matched jewelry.
Bridal Fashion Trends –
We all know beautiful fashion is all in the details. So, let us break it
down to different categories to make it easier for you to focus on
some of the details of how you can get yourself beautified before your
wedding day.
Your Hair: At least once a month you should get some deep conditioner
into your hair to keep it silky and shiny. Just make sure that your
final deep conditioning treatment for your hair is at least 2-3 weeks
before your big day. You do not want your hair to look oily during your
wedding day. Plus, it could be hard to do your hair right after a deep
conditioning treatment. Usually you will have to leave in the deep
conditioner for about ten minutes to get the best benefits from it. So,
sit back, relax and let the deep conditioner work into your hair.
If you constantly blow dry your hair, use hair styling products, or
curl, crimp or straighten your hair you will need to give your hair a
break from all of this extra stuff at least once a week. If you can
manage more often then go for it. Our hair was not made to have hot
curlers, hair dryers, and hair gel in it. Just be natural once in a
while. You just might see how much time you save yourself in the
morning, too! Save all of the products for your big day. That is when it
is all right to use all the products you need for a fashionable
hairstyle.
If you absolutely must blow dry your hair every day and simply can’t
live without it, at least use a hair product specifically made to
smear onto your hair before you take it to the hair dryer. This will
help keep your hair smooth and silky even after blow-drying it.
About a week or so before the big day go to your hairdresser’s and have
your hair trimmed and straightened. This will give your hair that fresh
look while eliminating dead ends. Your hair will look healthier just
from a trim.
And if you color your hair get a touch up at the same time you get your
trim. You might need an overall touch up of color, or just need to dab
your dead ends. This is not a good time to try out a new hair color.
Wait until after your wedding day if you want to try out a new hair
color. Things could go very wrong. Stick with the color you have now.
Your Face: Try a monthly facial peel to get rid of dead skin cells and
bacteria that could turn into zits. If you have sensitive skin you might
want to either forgo this step or find one that works well with your
skin. Then go for a deep cleansing mask that you can use
about once a week to get rid of dry skin and even get rid of some of
that oil if you tend to have oily skin. Remember to use a daily
cleanser that works well with your skin and use a daily moisturizer even
if your skin is oily. You could also try a moisturizer such as Oil of
Olay has that will help get rid of discoloration and bags under your
eyes. This simple step can make you look younger, healthier and more
alert every day.
Treat yourself and your skin to a professional facial. Not only is this
relaxing and good for your skin, but the skin professional can help you
find your skin’s type and possible problems and give you some great
advice!
Your Body: Take a trip to the best salon in your area, or your favorite
salon to get hair waxed from anywhere you want it removed. Do this with
plenty of time to heal before your wedding day, especially if this is
your first time. Your skin could have a reaction to the waxing. Use a
daily exfoliate on your body’s skin in the shower. You will feel the
difference an exfoliate makes, getting rid of dead skin cells and
rejuvenating your skin. Use a body moisturizer every day to keep your
skin smooth and healthy.
Your Hands and Feet: Treat your hands and feet to a monthly manicure and
pedicure. Make sure you get one on the day (or day before) your wedding
day. Use a foot scrub about once a week to get rid of rough, dry skin.
Use hand moisturizer to keep your hands silky soft. Before your wedding
day use a deep moisturizer on both your hands and feet.
Creating a Fashionable Bridal Appearance –
It is all about the details. Take care of your body, hair and skin by
using the steps above, and get ready for your wedding day by
choosing some stunning accessories. You will want to look at what you
want on your head – a veil, a tiara, a headband that comes
around your forehead with flowers, and anything else you can dream up.
Now think about earrings and a necklace. Choose something simple with
style that works with the rest of your wedding attire. Do not
overdo it, though. Keep it simply beautiful.
Now for the shoes. If your dress is long you might want to go for the
standard heels. However, you should choose shoes that will match
everything – your gown, accessories and your jewelry. Make sure you wear
your wedding shoes for at least seven days before your big day so you
can break them in.
There you have it! You are now ready to take that walk down the aisle
with all eyes on you and everyone will “ooh” and “ahh” at your
fashionable wedding attire and stunning beauty.
